Major Lipko Takes Command of 202nd

Major William A. Lipko was assigned as the Detachment Commander of the 202d Engineering Installation Squadron (EIS) on October 16th, 2005. Major Lipko’s previous assignment was as the Commander of the Mission Systems Flight at the 283rd Combat Communications Squadron, Dobbins ARB, GA. He also served with the 143rd and the 256th Combat Communications Squadrons in Washington State. Major Lipko spent almost 10 years on active duty as an Electronic Warfare (EW) Specialist supporting the B-52 and B-1 bombers.

In this capacity as Detachment Commander, Maj Lipko is responsible for the day to day management activities of the 202d EIS including planning and scheduling tasks associated with preparation for Unit Training Assemblies, Annual Training Events, and Real World Contingencies. 202nd
