USO Volunteers honored by
Guard in Savannah
The Georgia National Guard hosted a USO
volunteer appreciation day in Savannah in March. The event,
sponsored by the 1st Battalion, 118th Field Artillery, included
area units along with representatives from the US Coast Station
at Hunter Army Airfield. Brig. Gen. Larry Dudney, commander of
78th Troop Command, welcomed the more that 200 USO volunteers
and guests in attendance.
