Return to First Friday Briefing Family Readiness Conference Georgia Army and Air Guardsmen, senior leadership and family readiness volunteers from across the state will attend the second annual combined Family Readiness Workshop and Leadership Conference Aug. 13 to 15 at Atlanta’s Renaissance Concourse Hotel near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Workshops and conferences are combined again this year to accomplish fiscal savings. This also provides key leaders with the opportunity to meet with family readiness volunteers as well as discuss important leadership issues. This year’s events take place between noon Aug. 13 and noon Aug. 15. Registration is noon Aug. 13 with a registration fee of $30.00 (non-reimbursable for civilians – reimbursable for military personnel) due from conference attendees.
