Support your Local Guardsman with American Hero Band
With the close to 400
Georgia Guardsmen currently overseas and the 48th Infantry Brigade’s mobilization imminent, National Guardsmen can show their support by wearing an “American Hero Bracelet” (AHB). The
wrist band is available free of charge and Guardsmen can obtain one by logging onto the “Virtual Armory” website (www.VirtualArmory.com). The AHB is a wristband with the phrase “IN HONOR
OF AN AMERICAN HERO SERVING IN THE ARMY NATIONAL GUARD” on the outside. Flanking the text are the Army National Guard logo and the American Flag. It is stainless steel with the verbiage and
graphics engraved into the wristband. A unique feature of the Bracelet is that each bears a serial number that can be registered with Virtual Armory. Then, if another person is given that
bracelet, it can be re-registered and tracked as it goes from place to place, person to person.
