to Hardhats: Jobs for Current, Former Guardsmen
A new program touting the availability of jobs in the construction industry is available to Guardsman still in uniform and those who no longer serve.
Helmets to Hardhats is a nationwide, non-profit program that helps Guardsmen, Reservists, transitioning military and veterans find quality careers in the construction field. Program officials said they recently partnered with the National Guard to provide this free civilian job search program to service members looking for work.
There are several civilian job openings, officials said, from California to New York, and Helmets to Hardhats wants to make sure military personnel have the opportunity to apply for them while those jobs are available.
Guardsmen interested in a civilian career with high pay and great benefits, needs register with the program today. It is a free service, and once a person registers, he can begin to show which careers he is interested in, and program coordinators can help him make a choice.
