Annual Family Day and Picnic

Hey! It's our Annual Picnic and Family Day and we would love to have you and your family join the entire gang at Headquarters for a day of fun, games, and food.
This year we are going to Lake Allatoona Navy Recreation Area (I-75 North, exit 283). We have a covered pavilion (#2) right next to the beach and picnic area. We would be honored if you would join us.
Lake Allatoona is a beautiful 85-acre park with a variety of activities for your enjoyment; lodging, camping, boating, fishing and swimming.
If you desire to spend the weekend, cabins can be rented by contacting the facility itself at: 770-974-3413.
Please note: Pets are prohibited in the park.
Please RSVP Patsy Carr by 15 August 2005 at 678-655-4040 with number of attendees and ages of children. Meal provided by Maj Gen Hammond and Col Shannon to celebrate their promotions. Covered dishes are welcome.
DIRECTIONS
Take I-75 North to exit 283 (Emerson-Allatoona Road). Turn right off the exit and drive 2.7 miles to Old Sandtown Road. Turn left, go one block and bear left into the park.
Follow the signs to the Navy Recreation area.
We have Pavilion #2, next to the beach. Bring the entire family. Where else can you eat, have fun with family and friends, boat, bask in the sun, and get paid at the same time? Ya'll come now, you hear! See you there.
